Catalog audited October 5, 2026. Each bike identifies its source; EBE review figures may be older and are not a current manufacturer audit. Prices appear only where checked for the listed configuration and remain USD snapshots, not a live feed. Manufacturer range claims use different test conditions and should not be used to rank real-world range.

How this comparison works
Each bike shows its specification source. Manufacturer-checked entries are distinguished from figures reported in an EBE review. Review-reported figures may be older; confirm the exact configuration on the brand’s site. Hands-on labels follow EBE’s article disclosures, and other coverage is identified as research-based or not yet available. Practical highlights are transparent comparisons of selected specifications, not a universal ranking or a new review score.
Battery watt-hours use the brand’s published capacity where available. The POP and Portola values are calculated as nominal voltage × amp-hours. Brand torque claims are not standardized hill-climb tests. Minimum saddle height is measured from the ground and cannot be directly compared with your inseam to guarantee fit.
Fit checks compare height with the brand’s published range. Capacity checks compare rider + cargo with total payload and flag a separate rider limit when verified. Add accessories to cargo for a fuller check; front racks, child seats, trailers and passengers have separate rules. A result within published limits does not confirm passenger approval, physical fit or transport-rack compatibility.
Class settings and speed options depend on configuration and local rules. UL entries are manufacturer certification claims, not an independent certificate audit. Check the exact model and battery in a certifier’s directory before purchase. Warranty summaries omit exclusions; read the brand’s full terms.
The catalog includes bikes with EBE reviews, plus selected models awaiting EBE coverage. Each card opens its EBE review or manufacturer page. Separate buttons let you read coverage or explore current prices and model options. Collection pages may require selecting the exact model and configuration. Older generations and uncertain availability remain explicit. An unknown specification is not treated as zero. Newer versions are kept separate from older reviews.
Why don’t the bike weights always match?
Some manufacturers include the battery but omit accessories. Velotric’s published 63 lb excludes fenders, the kickstand and pedals. EBE does not declare it the lightest simply because it shares the same number as a differently measured bike. Ask for the fully assembled weight with battery and your chosen accessories before buying a car rack or planning to lift it.
Will the advertised range be my actual range?
Usually not. Speed, hills, assist level, wind, temperature, rider weight, cargo and throttle use all affect range. A larger battery provides more energy, but the bike’s efficiency and your riding conditions decide how far that energy goes. Use EBE’s range calculator from the Tools Hub for a planning estimate and keep a reserve.
